Youth Work

Young people often get such a bad name in our society these days, and usually that is so unfair.

At All Hallows, pre-pandemic, we were really glad to have a vibrant midweek youth group called Rock Solid.  The young people who came along were absolutely fantastic and there was a great atmosphere there.

For a variety of (pretty obvious) reasons the youth club had to stop when the pandemic hit and for some of those reasons we are not yet ready to start it up again.  We want to and we will do when we can, but we can't do so just yet.

What we are going to do in the autumn is to run a Kintsugi Hope Youth Wellbeing Group, which is designed to help young people with their mental health.  Before the pandemic research showed that about 1 in 5 young people struggled with their mental health.  The pandemic has only added to this burden.  And we want to do what we can to help.

So, we will be starting a wellbring group for young people in the autumn.  Watch the promo video to get an idea of it and you can read more on the 'Supporting people's mental health' page on this website.

We don't yet have a start date but please contact us through the Contact page if you are interested and we will get back to you as soon as we have the dates in the diary.
