Home Groups do not meet this week
We continue on Monday evenings to deliver some church welcome leaflets around the parish.
We will meet to pray from 7pm and then head out at 7:30pm for about an hour. DO join us in
this task. It is not as scary as it sounds - honest!
Tickets cost £3.50 / person and are available now for this church family evening.
Harvest Sunday is 26th Sept. We will receive gifts of tinned or packaged food, toiletries and other non-perishable items for "The Wellspring" – a local charity helping the homeless in the Stockport area.
Ladies Night 8.00pm in All Hallows Lounge – "An Indian Experience" with Dave Walker.
Catalogues now available from Joyce or Christine.
This is an informal 4 week introduction to the Christian faith course. It will take place in
someone's home, or in the church lounge. Each session lasts one and a half hours, has a
short DVD clip followed by a time of relaxed discussion.
It will be starting on Thursday 30th Sept at 2:00pm and/or 7:30pm.
See here for more details.
Just a quick reminder of the various prayer meetings that take place in All Hallows & St Philips
during the week/month. These are THE most important things we do as a church (and please don't think
I am overstating that - they are!). Can I urge you to make it a priority to join us for at least one
them if you can. Thanks.
Evangelism Prayer Meeting – Monday evenings, 7:00–7:30pm
Ministry Prayer Meeting – Thursday mornings, 9:30–10:00am
Mission Prayer Meeting – last Saturday of the month, 8:30–9:30am
There is a real and urgent need for more people to go on the "Sound Desk" rota at All Hallows. If you would like to find out more about what's involved please see Liz H or Viv.
If you are able, please sign up to mow the All Hallows lawns over the growing season.
The state of the lawns matters for our public witness, so do help out if you
possibly can!
If you have anything you'd like to go in the notices then please contact Lynne by 1pm on a Thursday. Thanks!
