We believe that prayer is the vital element of all of our ministries in All Hallows and St Philip's. We therefore meet regularly to pray as a church family.
This is usually on the second Tuesday of the month in All Hallows church lounge from 8:00–9:00pm, where we pray for the work and ministry in All Hallows and St Philip's, our Mission Partners, and for needs in our nation and the world. Forthcoming dates are: 3rd August, 7th September, 5th October, 2nd November, 7th December.
This is usually on the last Saturday of the month in All Hallows church lounge from 8:30–9:30am. Forthcoming dates are: 31st July, 28th August, 25th September, 30th October, 27th November.
Monday evenings 7:00–7:30pm in All Hallows church office. Here we pray specifically for God's blessing on all evangelism endeavours.
Thursday mornings 9:30–10:00am in All Hallows church office. Here we pray specifically for God's blessing on all the events taking place in church throughout the week and for God's wisdom for the development of future ministries.
Each Sunday, before our services, we meet to pray in the vestry/crèche for 10 minutes for the service about to take place. For the morning service this means we meet from 9:40–9:50am, and in the evening from 6:10–6:20pm.
All are welcome at all these meetings. Be assured that you will not be forced to pray out loud if you do not want to - just having you standing with us in this task is a great encouragement. These meetings are also the place to be in order to hear the latest news of what's happening in our churches.
