Welcome to All Hallows & St Philip's Churches in Cheadle. We're two churches serving one geographical parish, running along Councillor Lane.
We are a diverse group of ordinary people from the local area, but the BIG thing we have in common is the belief that the gospel (good news) of Jesus Christ is the best news in the world, and the Bible relevant for life today.
Our motto, Coming Closer to God, Going Further in His Love expresses our aim of getting to know God more deeply, and telling others about him.

I wonder what you feel you need? Maybe some extra money in the bank to meet the bills, improved health or maybe just a friend to stand by you. I meet many people who want so desperately to be forgiven, to have a clear conscience and the hope of heaven. But they think forgiveness is something impossible for them to receive from God.
The great news the Bible tells us is that Jesus Christ, the Son of God, came into this world to make it possible for us to know God's forgiveness.
Maybe you are unaware that this is what Christianity is really all about – I wonder did you think it was mere religious talk and ritual? Please do consider coming to church at any point in 2010 to find out more. We'd love to see you.
